About Mr. Rooter Plumbing & Owner Greg Muensterman

Greg Muensterman, President of Mr. Rooter of Central OregonGreg served his four year apprenticeship at the United Association’s, Southern California Pipe Trades Training Center from 1980 to 1984. He worked in L.A., Orange, and Riverside counties as a Union Steamfitter/Pipe Welder for 18 years. Greg has worked on and managed mainly large industrial projects, such as Waste Treatment Facilities, Semiconductor Plants, Biopharmaceutical Facilities, High Rise Heating Projects, etc. Before leaving the state for Oregon, Greg acquired and still maintains his L.A. City Journeyman Plumbing license.
Greg relocated to Bend, Oregon in 1998 in order to provide his two children with a safe and healthy upbringing, and to enjoy the outdoor lifestyle that Central Oregon afforded them. He purchased his Mr Rooter Plumbing franchise for Deschutes County in 2005. Over the next several years Greg built his business to include Jefferson and Crook Counties as well, in order to provide quality plumbing services to all of the Central Oregon region. Prior to all of that, Greg acquired from the State of Oregon Building Codes Division, his Journeyman Plumbers license, Boiler Class Three, and Boiler Class Five licenses.
Not only is Greg passionate about his work, but his dedication and enthusiasm spills over into virtually every aspect of his life. Foremost is his love for the bible, God’s inspired written word. A faithful Christian man, Greg believes in doing everything to God’s glory, and for that reason attributes all his accomplishments to his personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
In addition to his passion for work and Christ, Greg loves to play hard. Whether on his road bike or mountain bike, a pair of twin tip skis, a fly rod, or bow hunting in the mountains, his dedication to approaching the task at hand with 100% effort is not only apparent, but contagious to those who are around him.
Greg also strongly believes in “keeping it local” by investing into our local economy for all his goods and services, as well as giving back to the community and being involved with our local charities and organizations such as The Ronald McDonald House, Habitat for Humanity, ABC TV’s Extreme Makeover for Tyler Eklund, and the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Department Search and Rescue.
